HP LaserJet™ Printer Service Agreements

We offer a choice of two service agreements - PM and PM PLUS – for your HP LaserJet™ printers

TEC Services gives you a choice of two printer service agreements that are unmatched by any other service provider. The core of both of these service plans is the Preventive Service Inspection (PMI) that is essential in keeping this equipment in peak operating condition.

The primary difference between the PM and PM PLUS Service Plans is parts coverage:

  • The PM plan provides all of the components contained in the HP Maintenance Kit (with the exception of the fusing assembly).
  • The PM PLUS plan provides all of the parts contained in the HP Maintenance Kit (including the fusing assembly) plus remedial maintenance components such as formatter boards, scanner assemblies, and other parts. In addition, the PM PLUS plan demands a shorter on-site response.

Both the PM and PM PLUS service agreements assure that your printer receives attention at least once per year, resulting in fewer service downtimes than equipment serviced only when it malfunctions.

Service Agreement Incentive Plan

If your HP LaserJet™ printer currently needs service, we will discount the repair labor 50% and waive the on-site fee if you purchase an annual service agreement.

Service Agreement Quotes

If you would like for us to quote a price for a service agreement covering multiple printers, please e-mail a list of all the printer model numbers to Jack King at jjking@uga.edu. We will compute the price of the service agreement with volume discounts and e-mail the quote to you within one (1) business day.

How Do I Subscribe to a Service Agreement?

  1. Visit the Service Agreement Subscription Form page where you can print a PDF file of the form.
  2. Complete the form and ensure it is signed and dated by the approval authority. Leave the “Incentive WO #” field blank.
  3. If you cannot find the Serial Number for a particular printer, Mr. King will locate this information when he arrives on-site to perform the pre-Agreement inspection.
  4. After the form has been filled out and signed/dated by your approval authority, please fax the form to 706-542-5999.
  5. Upon receipt of the form, Mr. King will contact you by phone or e-mail to arrange a time to perform on-site pre-agreement inspections.

If a printer requires a repair before admission into the program, the labor required to restore the printer to a fully-operational condition will be discounted 50% and the on-site fee will be waived.

Volume Discounts

Customers who purchase 20 or more Service Agreements for HP LaserJet™ printers (PM PLUS only) and Personal Computers combined will receive a 20% discount from the list pricing for the PM PLUS and Personal Computer Service Agreements.
